Hello Quizzers 

THE NEXT MONTHLY QUIZ WILL BE NEXT  WEDNESDAY AUGUST 5th AT OAKS LANE SYNAGOGUE AT 2pm
As usual, please make sure you are not sitting on a table of more than 6-7, so that all table numbers are nearly equal! Last month, some tables were heaving with 8-9 people. We can always put another table out to make it more comfortable for everyone! (Thanks in advance).

Friends and newcomers are always welcomed. We are often surprised that so many people still don't know about U3A - especially our great Redbridge one. We know for sure of a few people who have joined ours because their local one has not offered as much as ours. Also some great new groups have recently been introduced which may interest your friends. 
Many thanks to those of you who have brought friends to our group and a warm welcome to our recent newcomers. ——- and we can still squeeze a few more in.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CUPS FOR TEA/COFFEE.We are trying to reduce our waste, so all help is appreciated. As always please bring your 50p for tea, coffee and biscuits.THANK YOU 

Marilyn Hendleman and I both received specific requests from Debz, the Oaks Lane Synagogue Office Manager, for us NOT to bring drinks or food back into the room. Debz has said that if we (and certain other U3A groups) continue to do so, she will ban the group! So please finish off your drinks and biscuits in the kitchen.
