Dr Steve Bullock gives his view of drones and their growing and evolving role in our skies.
In this talk Dr Steve Bullock will give his (opinionated!) view of drones and their growing and evolving role in our skies, and take members on a journey through engineering, AI, economics, and ethics. We’ll head out on safari to see how drones are supporting wildlife conservation, fly across remote islands hunting the the legendary Lundy cabbage, and soar over active volcanoes to capture atmospheric data and ash plumes.
