Explore how interfaith encounters can shape our beliefs, deepen understanding and change the way we see other faiths.
National Interfaith Week takes place during the second week of November each year, encouraging people of different faiths, and those of no faith, to meet, learn from one another and build greater understanding. But what effect can these encounters have on our own beliefs and sense of faith? In this event, we will hear from three people from different faith traditions about their experiences of interfaith engagement. We will explore whether meeting people with different beliefs can challenge assumptions, deepen understanding of our own faith, and perhaps change the way we think about the beliefs of others.
This event is organised by the Exploring World Faiths Subject Adviser, Dr Peter Rookes. Please visit his Subject Adviser webpage for contact details.
